LIG..there have been so many posts about this subject here, so I would recommend doing a search and also posting your budget. For my own needs, I find the SlowFood website invaluable for moderately priced places serving regional food. I answered a question yesterday with a long post about steak in Florence yesterday; I will bring it to the top for you.
I also wrote a very long report on food in Rome, which I will also bring to the top for you.
In Venice off the top of my head, so to speak, I like Fiaschetteria Toscana and Ai Gondolieri and Alle Testiere, all on the high end, price wise, but there are so many great places that I have not tried yet. One thing is for certain, great eating awaits you in all of your destinations!

Hi LIG - Two of my favourites in the Positano area are:
- 'La Tagliata' - above Montepertuso. Hard to beat for lunch-with-a-view.
- 'Da Costantino' - upper Positano.
(Above Chiesa Nuova)
- 'Donna Rosa' (- Montepertuso) also gets good reviews.
Hope this helps ...

My favorite place we ate while in Florence was La Certosa, http://www.lacertosa.it. It was definitely romantic with an opera singer and accordian player for entertainment. Plus the setting is beautiful. I highly suggest checking it out.
