That direct train does not run all year--we were unable to take it in early March and had to change in Katowice. So its availability depends on when you plan to travel.
Also, note it has compulsory reservations.

BT- thank you - the direct train IS running in late May. She'll be very pleased.

I am helping a friend. She was quite getting quite frustrated.
