Antwerp to Amsterdam by TG V?

I thought I'd read it was possible to go directly between the two (instead of Brussels) but it doesn't seem to be an option on the TGV site. I know they are working on the Antwerp station. Does anyone know if this trip is offered?

From what I've seen, that line isn't scheduled to be finished until 2005.

Thanks so much! I figured that was probably the case, but just wanted to make sure.

There is no TGV yet between Antwerpen and Amsterdam, but there are lots of ordinary trains. No need to go to Brussels first. All trains from Brussels to Amsterdam stop in Antwerpen - Berchem anyway.

The Thalys is the fast direct connection between Antwerpen-Berchem (which is the main train station as long as they're working in Antwerpen Central Station - which will last 3 more years !!!) and Amsterdam. Train ride takes 2 hours. See www.thalys.com
