Antwerp restaurant suggestions

DH and I are leaving for Belgium May 26. Our first stop is Antwerp and DH will be celebrating his birthday there. I would like to make reservations for a special meal, either lunch or dinner. Any suggestions for a really nice restaurant with great food? We eat pretty much everything. Also, recommendations in general would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
The Jane is a good choice but it's rather expensive. It's a two Michelin-stars restaurant known for its innovative cuisine and exquisite dining experience. Housed in a former military chapel, the Jane offers a unique atmosphere combining historical architecture with contemporary design. Its talented chefs create dishes that blend modern techniques with a focus on quality ingredients.

Add to your list Bistrot du Nord, a charming bistro which serves up delicious French and Belgian cuisine.
