Carr. In my two visits to Italy, I have not been able to go to Anghiari. But it is still on my list.
There is a wonderful linen manufacturer there that I would love to visit.
Busatti, via Mazzini 14. 0575-7880013. They make traditional Tuscan fabrics of a linien cotton mix that date back to the Renaissance.
If you are there, please visit for me. www.busattitessuti.it. From an old Bon Appetit issue (May 2000)

I know a couple and a single woman who have their own apartments there and both apartments are sometimes for rent. If you give me a little lead time, I could find out more.
(The lady is in Turkey and the couple may be in Italy now -- or else in Portugal. We Canadians are a restless, peripatetic lot, in this chilliest of winters!!)
