Andalucia-Where to stay?
Hi,
We will be in Spain in early May 06.
We are going to hire a car in Malaga and then make our way to Sevilla where we will spend 2 days. We have 3 days in between where we would like to stay in some little coastal town along the way.
We were thinking about Vejer de la Frontera, any other suggestions?
We are looking for something picturesque.

I agree that Nerja is a good destination. We spend two weeks there each year.
Paraiso del Mar is hotel in a great location that gets good reviews.

Thankyou all for your help. I ended up booking at Vejer at a place called Aqui Vejer which seems to have received all great reviews.
Thanks to all of the comments though, we have changed our trip slightly so that we can still make a stop at Nerja-so thankyou all for your input.

The entire stretch of coast is basically the Ft. Lauderdale, a bunch of hi rises. Nerja is the one exception, but it is in the wrong direction. I'd cut up and go to Ronda. Carmona is also a nice town with a beautiful parador.
Also, 2 days in Sevilla is not enough. You should make it at least 3.
Actually, here is a better itinerary.
1. Land at Malaga, drive to Nerja
2. Drive from Nerja to Granada. You have wasted your trip to Spain if you don't see the Alhambra.
3. Drive to Cordoba, see the Mezquita.
4. Drive to Seville.
