An extra day in Florence or Paris?

Can't decide? What are your thoughts and why? Have already been to both, tho, that doesn't really mean too much.....

I guess to me it depends how you were planning to divide the days up to begin with.

It would be helpful to know your itinerary.

IMHO, whichever city you choose, can't go wrong. I'm more of an Itali-phile, but if given choice between those two I think I'd have to lean towards Paris. There's sooooooo much to do & see. Alternatively, why not consider your choices of daytrips? For instance, an extra day in Paris gives you chance to visit Giverney or perhaps Versailles. OR putting that extra day in Florence might mean you can see Siena or Lucca.

Maybe a quiz would help.

Do you like better:

a) Camembert or
b) Asiago

a) Creme caramel or
b) Spumoni

a) Monet or
b) Raphael

a) Champagne or
b) Chianti

a) Chocolat or
b) Tea with Mussolini

Score 1 points for each a, 2 points for each b.

For a score of 5-7, an extra day in Paris, 8-10 Florence.
Hey, Becky, I think Paris is a much better idea. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed Florence, but I felt I could also get more for my American dollar in Paris.
