Why would you want to go to Cinque Terre if you don't know what it is and can't spell the name of the town so you'd never find your way there anyway.
It would take you the entire day to get there from Venice so you'd leave Venice very early, drive or take a train to Cinque Terre, take a look and turn around to go back to Venice.
Yes you can enjoy it in a day but you can't do that from Venice.
I suggest a map and a guide book for further exploration of Italy.

Without some of the snarkiness:
Venice - Cinque Terre is about 5 hours each way by train. It's infeasible to go down and back in 1 day.
It has been overrun by tourists for at least the past 10 years, all due to Rick Steves claiming that it's not on the tourist trail. Maybe in 1993 that was true. Maybe in January it's true.
