My trip is getting closer. I've been looking at the timed slots for both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. It looks like I still have plenty of availability for the Rijksmuseum but when I go to the website for the Van Gogh museum, I can't buy tickets after March 6th. Is it just not available for purchase yet or do you think they are already sold out? Did I miss the window?
TIA

There is a new exhibition starting on March 7th, and the prices go up to cover that.
https://tickets.vangoghmuseum.nl/en/kiefer/tickets
It includes entry to both the van Gogh and Stedelijk museums as well as the Kiefer expo.

Follow up question:
Would you wait to reserve tickets to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum after I reserve my tickets for the Anne Frank house?
I can't get tickets to the Anne Frank house until 3/18 for the week I will be in Amsterdam. I'm hoping to go to Anne Frank's on 4/30. I'll be in Amsterdam 4/28-5/3.
So, would you hold off reserving the other museum tickets until Anne Frank is secured? The museum tickets are non-refundable. Or, should I just monitor the slots for the other museums and buy them regardless of having Anne Frank secure?

I have no idea how popular the new exhibition will be, but I think you will be OK waiting until you have your Anne Frank tickets. Don't shoot me if I am wrong
You could I guess choose a day for van Gogh and get on the Anne Frank site as soon as it opens to get your tickets, so you have at least one thing you are certain of.
You may like the Verzetsmuseum https://www.verzetsmuseum.org/en/wor...he-netherlands or the Jewish Museum https://www.museum.nl/en/joods-museum if you can't get Anne Frank tickets, or even if you do.

Looks great
I was in Netherlands in 2023 and going back in 2026. Your itinerary looks good. Just pick your own personal must-see attractions and buy tickets. Then everything else is gravy and depending on how you feel that day. We did a canal cruise in the day last time. In 2026 I want to do an evening canal tour. I've already booked an Airbnb right by Vondelpark. Keukenhof is also on our list, as well as Giethoorn, the village on water. Have a wonderful time!!

Hi - I stayed at Hotel Estherea. It was lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of cookies and sweets in the afternoon. It was a great location for me to be in the center of everything that I wanted to explore. I was only a 15-20 minute walk away from anywhere that I wanted to go.
