American Football Abroad

Friends will be travelling to Zermatt to ski in January. When they planned the trip they never thought their favorite football team would be in the playoffs! So--does anyone know where they would be able to watch the playoffs in Zermatt and London (stopover on the way home)? Thanks for the info.

It will be on satellite. Most hotels have it. There will ba heap of places- sports bars etc- which are showing it in a more convivial environment

Diane - Spent some time in the big Z a couple years ago and watched the Tyson fight when he bit the ear at The North Wall Bar. Highly recommend it! Regards Tom

If you can't get a TV signal, tune in the Armed Forces Radio Network anywhere. We have watched football on CNN in waiting lounges in airports all over, as far away as Auckland and Beijing and Nairobi.

Who cares? It's a girls sport anyway. What is it with all that cissy padding and helmets?

Nigel--you have obviously never played football if you think it is a sissy game. Oh yeah, if anyone named Nigel (sissy name) tried to play football--well, you'd be peeling yourself off the astroturf

I'm a rugby player who spent a season playing American Football. Rugby is tougher and padding is not used. I'm sorry about my cissy name, I'll give you a contact for my parents, and you can take it up with them.
