Considering most flights from the US to London depart in the evening I think it is fairly safe to assume that some people do take this flight.
If no one took it I doubt AA would operate the flight as it would lose them money, wouldn't it?
So I think you should assume it will be pretty full. That is what the airline is trying to achieve after all.

If you are speaking of the American Airlines non stop 10 hour polar route flight from LA to London it is always FULL. They usually only have one a day, but I understand they have added a second one for the summer months.

The Polar route is the shortest route to Europe from the west coast.It's because the Earth isn't flat, but maps are, so maps are always distorted. The shortest route between two points on a globe is along part of a great circle, which is a large circle going all the way round the globe with the centre of the Earth at the centre of the circle.
