Is there anyone out there that would like to see Ron and Kelly win?

I would be thrilled with either Rob & Amber or Joyce and Ucchenda.

I think most of us were disppointed after the models won last year. She was so sickening. Honey this, darling that.

Kelly's POW comment made TV Guide's "Jeers" listing. I have to agree.

I've been wrong with every guess so far, but I would like Joyce and Uchenna to win. She deserves something for shaving her head.

My guess is the 3 teams will appear on the CBS Early Show Wednesday morning for a check presentation ceremony. I wonder if Joyce has kept her hair short or is using a wig.

ncgrrl, didn't this race actually finish almost 6 months ago? Joyce's hair would have grown to a respectable length by now. I hope she kept it short and stylish. I'm one of those who think she looks much better -- classier and prettier -- without the mop.

Madison, funny question! I guess their friends and family are rooting for them, but if this board is any indication, no one else on earth is!

This is it! Tonite is the final! who is going to win? the mastermind Romber, the unstable couple - Ron & Kelly, or the always kind Uchenna & Joyce?

Marilyn, from http://www.answers.com/topic/the-amazing-race

"Teams receive monetary compensation for the time away from their jobs back home. Even after the race has aired, however, the amount is still required to remain confidential."

Interesting, Keith. Thank you!

I'd be totally happy if Ron and Kelly won.....as long as it's not Rob and Amber!!! But alas, we all know the "fix" is on! To give Rob and Amber even MORE help, I'll bet the final city they arrive in is Boston!!!

I suppose it is a little late to mention this now, but for those of you who would like to follow Amazing Race more closely, here is an excellent discussion board:

http://tvclubhouse.bomis.com/forum/m...tml?1115764832

You can also discuss Survivor and many other reality television shows over there. Just remove the stuff from the end of the link above, and you will have the general address of the message board.

As info, I just changed my user name here at Fodors today. I have formerly posted here as scumpy. Juju.

Just about two more hours! Everyone I know has been informed that I'm not answering the phone tonight.

I'm still rooting for my local team J&U.

Marilyn May 10th, 2005 03:02 PM

I'll be staying OFF this thread after 6pm Left Coast Time, just in case any of you early birds forgets that we'll be watching 3 hours later than you!

djkkk May 10th, 2005 03:57 PM

BigJim-
It'll be interesting to see what state/city is the finish. I hope it's NOT Boston. What a kick in the pants that would be for the others. Romber team has been extremely lucky during this race, so you never know!!!

Keith May 10th, 2005 06:57 PM

YAHOO!!!

Truffles May 10th, 2005 07:00 PM

Awesome! And just to further prove that they were deserving, and played the game right - they refused to stiff their cabbie!! My hands hurt from clapping, and my neighbors probably think I'm nuts!

SuzieTrue May 10th, 2005 07:06 PM

They never let themselves get down tonight. The flat tire didn't do it, neither did the flight. Loved the faces when they got on the plane after the door had closed. Knowing another language really paid off. Way to go!

Keith May 10th, 2005 07:33 PM

Rob & Amber weren't as offensive tonight (or even last week). Wonder if CBS had them edited that way so people would be more inclinded to watch the wedding... I am about as likely to watch that wedding as fly.

Ron and Kelly at the end - Ron isn't ready to commit. Ha! He isn't ready to commit WITH HER.

Can't believe that plane delayed for Uchenna & Joyce. Lucky that was one of the few times that Rob didn't ask people to not help the other teams.

How AMAZING was it that the airline re-opened the door!!!

Keith May 10th, 2005 07:43 PM

From a news article before tonight's show, talking about Uchenna & Joyce:
" And let's not forget that interesting news item that broke just before the race began. If you don't know what we're talking about, you don't want to. Yet."

Wonder if she is pregnant now?

ballbuster May 10th, 2005 08:25 PM

American airlines reopened the door to let them back on. sounds fishy

abbynicole27 May 10th, 2005 09:14 PM

I have to say, this was my favorite Amazing Race EVER!!! Rob and Amber made things interesting, and Uchenna and Joyce were my favorite winners to date. Things finished just as they should have =)

Marilyn May 10th, 2005 10:04 PM

Yes, YES, YES!!!
We cheered, we cried, we are going to bed happy tonight!
