Altitude 95 Eiffel Tower Access

We will be dining at 9 PM on a Friday night in September at the Eiffel Tower Altitude 95 restaurant. Will there be a long line at that time of night to gain access?

Thank you.

With reservations you check in at the Welcome Desk and are then directed to a separate line for folks with restaurant reservations. We went at lunch time and there were about 20 people in line with us. You will not have to wait in the long lines that seem to stretch endlessly. Have a wonderful meal. Barb

We waited over an hour in line on a Wednesday night two weeks ago but September should be a bit less crowded.
Not to offend any hard core Fodor's guide book fans but, page 351 of Rick Steves' 2006 Paris guide talks about what to do if you have these reservations for Altitude 95 and how they will get you quick access! Bon voyage, we had a great two weeks in Paris and the trip to the Eiffel Tower was just breathtaking and something I will always remember. Don't forget to mail yourself a post card from there to get the Eiffel cancelation stamp on it!

Yes, thank you, some great advice. Is the Welcome Desk easily noted?

It is a small building between the north and east pillars. It is easily found. When you fax for reservations be sure to request a table with a view. FYI, I pulled my lunch receipt for two. We had 2 Table Du Chef (Chef's special including desert)and 2 Coca Cola's, Total Euro 64.40. Barb

By the way, can anyone report more current experience with this "Welcome Desk" - - for lunch or dinner either one?(at Altitude 95); I have been to Jules Verne a decade ago, and recall the separate elevator arrangements for that. We might prefer to make our "splurge" dining plans for Tour Montparnasse and/or le Train Bleu (hopefully both? but so many choices, so little time!)

Thanks in advance for any current experiences... and...

Best wishes,

Rex
