Airport transportation - L'Hotel

Thinking about book my transportation from the airport to my hotel in Paris via the internet using Airport Shuttle. Has anyone used these people and is booking in advance via the internet dependable? Are they reliable? Staying at L'Hotel - any comments on this hotel would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Kevin... I just booked my round trip transportation from CDG to my hotel on Rue des Ecoles using Paris Shuttle on line and it was no problem, My visa was billed a total of $53.41 for the pickup and return for my and I. You make your Visa payment using Pay Pal on line. It was a bit of a hassle registering, and it took a couple of attempts the first time I tried to register, but they have since come back with an email confirmation. You call their number toll free at the airport before you pick up your luggage and clear customs and they'll tell you which exit to go out. We arrive in Paris on 6 June and I expect that everything will be arranged and waiting..good luck...Mike

Kevin, if you can swing L'Hotel, then you shouldn't have any problem with a cab fare to get there and that would be my suggestion. You're in for a real treat; there is a reason L'Hotel is used by some heavy-duty celebs. (Personally, it's a bit more than I do when I travel, but in a recent, brief walk-through, I would say it's very long on charm and certainly unique.) Enjoy.

Kevin~

I have used Airport Shuttle on numerous occasions, and after my trip to Paris last month...it will be the last.

The reliability isn't consistent enough, and seems to be the worst when I really need it to count.

I'm off to L'hotel next week, and I'll be taking a cab...after the currency change, the difference in price vs. dependability is now marginal.

L'hotel is fabulous...enjoy!

Bon Voyage,
Wendy

ditto everyone

L'Hotel was my first choice...until I saw the rates. I'm jealous. You definately can afford a taxi. It is super easy- just follow the signs. "taxi" is also "taxi" in French. We didn't wait at all. And you won't have to make a call when you land. 50 Euro at rush hour inbound, and 44 Euro Sun am outbound. (plus tip)

Kevin: Lucky you. I wish I could afford to stay at l'Hotel.
So far, only a visit at the bar!
A cab is it, most definitely.
Their web page is fab. Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall used to stay there, just like other lucky ones.

http://www.l-hotel.com/
