This summer, we took Ryanair round trip London (Stansted) - Ancona, Italy, north of Bari. Very reasonable. More flights available in summer, but there are deals all year long. I don't know if they fly into Bari, but their website should tell you that. If they don't, there is excellent train service from Bari to Ancona. Caveat: Ryanair abides by strict luggage restrictions. Read the rules before you book! We had no problems, but did pay attention to the luggage weight and also to the dimensions of the carry on bag.

Thanks , Steve and Claire. I looked at their website and either Pescara or Ancona look fine. I didn't (couldn't) find a FAX or email address. Is there one? I need a flight from the Bari area to London and the only one way flights I saw listed where the London to Bari.

Let me know if there is a contact other than the phone.

Thanks again,
M.

Michele, I've never found an e-mail address for Ryanair. I think the phone number is the only way to contact them quickly, apart from the internet site. As for the Italy to London flight information, did you get to the page where you plug in your cities? I've never encountered a problem getting information on one way tickets to OR from Italy so am a bit puzzled.

Michele, I was curious and just rechecked the Ryanair site. Click on "Booking now" and then plug in your cities, Pescara or Ancona to London. There is a place to check "one way." If you forget, but select a single travel date, you'll get a prompt asking if you want them to put you in one way mode. Then, all available flights for your date will come up.
