Air Transportation from CDG airport

We are a family of 5 (two adults, three children) and are looking for the most inexpensive way to get from CDG airport to Hotel de France. Does anyone have any suggestions? The buses seem convenient but very expensive. I'm inclined to take a train, but would appreciate your suggestions. Thank you.

The trains would be the cheapest way to go. You can get more info on them at this site:

http://www.ratp.com/

Click on the 'International Passengers' link at the top to get english.

I don't know if there are cabs that allow 5.

The VERY most inexpensive way is on the city bus. See the last box at the bottom of my summary:

Robespierre, interesting option. Suppose you are at CDG, and want to buy the tickets for the #350 or #351 bus. If you are buying 2 or 3 tickets, and then taking the metro, can you just buy a Mobilis instead? Can you easily buy either tickets or a Mobilis at CDG?

When I was there, I took the Air France bus, so don't know how that is laid out.

I've never tried that, but unless you're planning some significant moving about, it's not very economical, because that 5-zone Mobilis will cost you almost 7€ more than a 2-zone one.

All RATP products are sold at CDG.
