Agriturismo Tuscany
Have looked at MANY agriturismo in Tuscany south of Siena. I really do not want an apartment with a kitchen as I do not plan on cooking. Would like accommodations with breakfast and availability for dinner at least two nights during a five night stay. Last year we stayed at Vignamaggio and were very happy. This year we want to venture a little further south. I have looked at Fonte Bertusi, which is lovely, but does not offer dinner. Le Caggiole has us moving every two nights. HELP!!!

Zoecat,
Thanks for your reply. I have read that one of your favorites is Fonte Bertusi. Do you cook in or go out to local restaurants when you stay? Have you stayed at Terre di Nano?
Thank you

No one will come into your apartment and force you to cook. If you like a property why does it matter if it has a kitchen or not? Plus a kitchen has other benefits -- like having a washer/dryer, being able to keep wine/drinks/snacks on hand.

I eat in and out. I like to buy and cook the local ingredients and also use the BBQ available at Fonte Bertusi. It is nice having a kitchen to also prepare snacks. Some days I prefer to eat and get to bed early, so I prepare my meal in the kitchen and usually eat on my private patio. For eating out, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. I like to eat lunch in restaurants when out and about during the day.
I have not stayed at Terre di Nano. I have driven past and the location looks very good.
Here are a few more options in the area that serve dinner. All are very well located.
