technically, they never have been. But nobody ever paid any attention. Now, they confiscate them at some airports, and at some they still don't pay any attention.

why bother-everyone looks the same getting off a flight-besides on one at the airport cares what you look like? unless you are a celeb. Cab and bus drivers have seen it all. enjoy yourself. don't swet the details.

Brian, I don't think the point is to USE the aerosols enroute, but some of us are still trying to travel with just carryons and want to know what we can still take.

It is a matter of safety when pressurized cans are placed in unpressurized baggage compartments. You may get away with it until one of your explodes and then you may not live to regret it.
