Advice about Naples?

@ Leely2 -- I, too, loved Palermo and found many similarities with Naples. Naples is larger, has a different range of architecture and much broader range of art, and some districts -- like Spaccanapoli -- seemed even more densely packed than any district I saw in Palermo (but that may simply reflect what I saw). I chose to stay in Spaccanapoli and have no regrets about that choice, but I'm sure many people would want one of the more open areas, even if not staying along the waterfront. Enjoy!
