acommodations for 7
looking for a villa (farmhouse etc. ) in central Italy for a week in september. Would like a facility where a meal or two could be prepared for us,perhaps a vineyard or other activities of a local nature.

Try www.slowtrav.com as they have lots of info about renting villas.
We also used www.summerinitaly.com to rent a place for 7 in Positano in 2007 and they were excellent to work with. They also rent in central italy as well...

A really great site where you can rent people's homes is www.airbnb.com , they have quite a few listings for Italy.
