Accomodations in Poschiavo Area

I would like get recommendations for a place to stay with a group of six people in the
Poschiavo area in early June. Looking for something that is a good value and preferably and representation of the area.

Poschiavo is quite small and compact but has a lovely town center. Check out the skull exhibition next to the church. A church near my home in Switzerland has something similar.

Dukey: How did you enjoy Switzerland? Everything go smoothly?

As a follow-on..you might try looking at the Hotel Albrici which is a more or less historic property which overlooks the center of the town.

Schuler, yes it was a GREAT trip and i have a trip report thread started which I'll post more on shortly

I'd stay in Poschiavo itself for practical reasons. Hotel Suisse is recommended by guide books, sorry, no personal experience. Hotel Albrici is definitely a historical property, but has rooms with bathroom down the hall if I recall correctly. If you want a hotel with lake view, then Kurhotel in Le Prese is for you - on the more pricey side, though. Had lunch on their terrace once and thought I'd love to stay there but again, no personal experience.
