We're a youthful couple in our 60's heading to Santorini 6/17 for 3 nights and Paros for 3 nights before going to Athens for a night or two prior to heading home to the US. Would appreciate 4* and above recommendations. We're an active couple looking forward to walking/hiking, exploring (1-day car rental on each island), dining and minimal drinking. Romance is high on our list as we are a relatively new couple happy to have found each other later in life. In Santorini we are drawn to the Oia, Fira, Imerovigl locations and would like to keep the price in the 350-600 USD per night range. The same for Paros! Thanks for any suggestions!

At this "late date" for booking rooms in June your best chance for finding what you want at the price you want to pay will be by using the filter system on the booking dot com website.

Look at Kanales on Paros, near, walkable to Naoussa. We liked Paros.
Esperas on Santorini was filled with honeymooning couples but had good views. We are not big fans of Santorini;see the caldera view and leave.

We loved Filotera Villas in Oia. Lots of steps at most/all places because everything is built into the cliff. There were one or two rooms on each level with a pool on the lowest level. Stunning views. If you're still looking, better to say what price you want in euros.

I would suggest checking out the charming Imerovigli area, it's really romantic and comes complete with gorgeous sunsets. You can have a nice 20-minute stroll to the city centre from there or set off on a 2-hour hike to Oia. Plus, there are lots of other fun things to do around the area.

is there a preference for Oia-Imerovigli-Fira or are they equally preferable?
