Where in the world is Skegness? In Boston, The Four Seasons is very well located. The Lenox is also good, less pricey. In mid-October, hotel space will be very tight; book now.

Skegness is an old fashioned seaside resort in Lincolnshire. My guide book suggests The Vine, an enlarged 17th century hotel with 23 rooms. I've not been to Skegness - it sounds a rather bizarre place to want to go!

Been to Skeggy & Mablethorpe loads of times. Skeggy is great but might be bleak mid-October. Have a look at this hotel in the village of Wainfleet, just outside Skeggy http://www.skegness-resort.co.uk/woolpack/index.htm. Wherever you stay don't miss a pint of Bateman's beer .

Ah, yes....forgot which "lounge" I was browsing in. I'm really not _that_ geographically challenged, just a bit absent-minded...!
