a week around Florence?
Hi,
Any suggestions for spending a week around Florence? We are meeting our daughters for a week in late April (one studying in Seville, and one working in Germany)and Florence was the easiest place to meet. We are staying outside of Florence and will have a car. We plan at least 2-3 days taking the train into town to see the sights, also a day trip to Pisa and daVinci's place. We all like wine, too!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Candy

Actually, we are doing 4 nights with our daughter in Germany, then 4 nights in Venice, 2 nights in Verona, 3 nights in Cinque Terre, and a week in Florence (easy for both kids to get to by plane or train).
I was thinking maybe some Vineyards? Wine tasting? Scenic little towns with shopping off the beaten track? Good eats? Shouldn't miss?
Thanks!
