Hello gawr, I am so happy to the see the continuation of your trip report! You have a very clever way of writing, one feels like they are travelling with you.
That horrible hostel, it reminded me of a dump of a motel, the only one that had a vacancy, in the east part of the State of Washington. Like you we hung out at a bar until they closed and I believe after just three hours of sleep we were on the road again. Disgusting doesn't even describe it..but thankfully we didn't see any rats, lol.
I sure look forward to reading your next installment!

So today would be my last day in Prague. There wasn’t much more for me to do since I pretty much saw everything. My only goal today would be to relax and take in the scenery. Did I mention to drink, because that would be on the top of my the list. I was also looking forward to the football games. That day the U.S. team was playing the Czech Republic team. It was going to be a really good game.
After having a few hours of sleep on the grass I got up and went to my hostel to get some breakfast. By this time my room was ready, so I moved my stuff into the room. I was pumped for the football game so I went on a walk to see if I could find some trouble. I just started to walk, not having any real destination. I ended up walking to a small café down a narrow street. I had a few pints and something to eat. I then walked to the Jewish neighborhood for some souvenirs. Since the U.S. dollar was pretty good compared to the Czech dollar I thought that I would do some shopping. I went into a few high-end stores, and I was shocked to find the prices were more than they are in the U.S.
I then went to a park bench by the Charles Bridge to read and to people watch. After a few hours I went back to my hostel to take a nap.

It was about 5 P.M. and I decided to head out to my HQ pub. At the bar I accumulated 8 or 9 tally marks and watched a football game. I was sitting at the bar and noticed that they had a bottle of the green fairy, Absinthe. At that moment I knew that
I had to have it.
I walked up and down the main street by the museum. I finally found a store and bought a small bottle. All I needed was a class of ice and pop. I went to the local McDonalds and got a cup of ice and a pop. I mixed the drink, closed my eyes and took a sip. It was the most disgusting drink that I had ever had. Within a few minutes the ice had melted and it was warm. A cold drink I can handle, but a warm disgusting drink makes it twice as worse. I was determined to drink it, so I closed my eyes and drank it. I finished it and headed to the main square for the football game. During the game I found a bunch of American fans. I started to talk to a women, who turned out to life in the same city as I do. She also went to the same College. So I hung out with her and her friends. After the game we all went to a dance club. By the second half I was completely gone. Meaning I was really drunk from the green fairy. I ended up dancing with a girl on the stage. I have a picture of it, very funny.
Do I make it home? Find out on my next installment

Great installment, gawr! I remember seeing the green bottles of Absinthe on my backpacking trip back in 2002 but abstained... since I only weighted about 110 or 115, the multiple rounds of beer were doing me in just fine! Glad to hear I didn't miss much

I woke up the next morning in my hostel, but I didn’t make it to my bed. I ended up sleeping on a couch in the TV room. The main point is that I did make it back.
Today would be my last day in Europe. I was catching a plane back home around 2P.M. This meant that I had a few hours to walk around and take in the sites one last time. I ended up walking and found my favorite spot, the Charles Bridge. I leaned against the side and did some people watching and listened to some local music. I already knew how to get to the airport because of this forum. I had to take the train, and then a bus took me to the airport.
I didn’t have any trouble getting past security or getting to my correct gate. It was a long flight, but there were other people on the plane who were talking about their experiences. A young couple and I talked almost the whole way home about what we did in Europe. As you may guess they were a little more interested in what I did, because of all my wacky adventures and shenanigans I experienced.
I would like to thank everyone who helped me plan my euro trip and everyone who read and responded to my posts.
I’m currently saving money for another month long trip to Italy and Greece. The only problem is that I won’t be ready for another year.
P.S. Sorry it took me so long to write my trip report. I promise the next one won't take so long. Maybe only half a year.
