I forgot to tell you that we'll be there in September.

I would take a stroll along the beaches in Barcelona. Find a little restaurant on the beach and have lunch. All of the beaches in Barcelona are man-made for the 92 Olympics. I took a bicycle tour of the city for four yours. Quite enjoyable. You could take the elevator to the top of the Christopher Columbus statute.

June Ann...be sure to take in the Saldana (folk dancing) in front of the main cathedral...including a uniformed band and mostly "older" (50's on up) couples dancing...they put their handbags in a large circle and dance around it all all morning long...photo ops!I believe it starts around 10 on Sunday mornings only.
This coupled with the Turistica bus tour, and a walk along the Barcelonetta beaches, the Columbus Tower and a stroll down the Rambla, and a look at the Gaudi buildings along Passeig Gracia will make for a colorful and memorable day. (Lunch at Can Majo near the beach..great Paella!)

Happy 42nd Anniversary, kids!! I got to 40 with my dear late wife. Now up to 15 with my second wife...total of 55 with two of the loveliest women..my cup surely runneth over.

The day is sounding great. I've read that Can Majo is open on Sunday. Is it only outdoors or could we plan to go even in bad weather?
I'm really looking forward to this trip.
