I love your travelogue, Susanna. Those meals, those roads, those people-watching-worthy celebs and wannabes... . I'm adding St. Tropez to my Must-Go-There list.

Keep us posted on your next trip!

Susanna,

What a wonderful trip report! And very helpful/timely as we leave this Wednesday for a week in Provence. (especially appreciate your comments on the St. Tropez beach clubs).

We are hoping to do a day trip to the gorges du Verdon and Moustiers sounds like the perfect place to visit. Can you tell me where you did the paddle boat rental?

Thanks,
Ellie

Thank you for all the nice comments.

Elle: I believe that we get the boats on Lac de st Croix. It is directly below Moustiers. If you are looking at a map, it is on the left side of the lake, really you can't miss it, there isn't much else there. It's great fun, wear a hat and bring sunscreen, food and water. They will give you a big waterproof plactic container to put all your stuff in. Just rent for an hour. We have done it twice, stayed out a long time and were never charged extra when we returned the boat, go figure. We fessed up, weren't trying to get one over on them.

Have a good time at the beach clubs, now I'm jelous!

Any other questions, just ask.
