A month in Italy: Language Classes

I am still trying to decide what two destinations I want to make as a home base (to rent an apartment in each) to telework. I will work part-time and sightsee the rest. I am going to be alone since my husband cannot telework. But I would like to consider taking some in-person Italian language immersion classes. I have been taking Italian here at home but thought taking in Italy for 2 weeks or so would be great. A lot of scam schools online it seems. Has anyone had experience with a not outrageously expensive immersion study class that is legit? Thank you (and still wondering about where to stay--not so small I will be bored walking in a circle--perhaps not so big that I feel anonymous?)
