A good place to stop between Siena and Positano?

Viterbo is not too far off A1 and would be a nice visit, as would Hadrian's Villa outside of Rome.

Oh, I know... ROME! It's about halfway between Siena and Positano!
ha ha. but seriously, Near Viterbo...in Bomarzo is a very interesting park called The Park of Monsters. It has some wonderful sculptures that were created centuries ago. It's a good quiet place to make a quick stop and stretch your legs.
