A few days in Porto
A couple of years ago I was in Porto during a one day stop during a cruise, and was enchanted by the city. I'm now planning to spend 3 days there next year prior to starting my Camino Portugués to Santiago de Compostela.
Would love recommendations as to what not to miss in the Porto area. I will not have a car. Also, hotel recommendations would be appreciated (budget around 150 euros/night).
Thanks for any comments.

Check out Pousadas.PT They often have great offers. Pestana group likewise. Comfort, Class and convenience all the way. A car is a real problem in Porto but invaluable for getting off the main trsck to see the areas connected by good but less travelled roads.Santiago is awesome, Duoro Valley is beautiful, northern Pt, beautiful. There is a wondeful parador in Santiago. If you don't stay there at least wander through.Your trip will be one of the best you may ever have. Enjoy

Here's the newsletter on 72 hours in Porto: http://iberiantraveler.com/72_hours_in_porto.pdf
You can check out 4Rooms (http://4rooms.org) to see if they have to offer, but the Pousada do Porto, Palácio do Freixo, might have a good deal depending on your dates (www.pousadas.pt).
