7 days trip - Nice
Hello guys, me and my girlfriend (both 24 yo) are going to Nice on 21st of September and would like some advice. My plan apart seeing Nice itself and enjoying its local food would be to rent scooters for a day or two and go for a stroll and sightseeing all around Nice. Any advice on amazing places I should include in the route?
P.S You can include must see places in Nice itself as well.

Lots - not sure if scooters will make it up the hill to the perched on hills hill towns like St-Paul-du-Vence, an ancient lovely place that is probably the most famous of the several hill towns. They also have the celebrated Maeght Foundation Contemporary Art Museum on the edge of town.
Along the sea I'd head to Antibes and Cannes - Cannes ain't old-looking but have a look at the fancy yachts, great sandy beaches (Nice' is pebbles) and maybe head up to Grasse,an ancient regionalt own known as the home of French perfume and you can tour the world-famous perfume factories.
Or climb one of the famous three Corniche roads between Nice and Monaco - again not much in Monaco but it is a novelty and home of rich and famous and tax dodgers. Go via Eze for a bird's eye view of the coast from town.
For hikes take the train to Cap d'Ail and walk the few miles to Monaco along a pristine part of the coast - isolated swimming holes (no suits required!)- just an amazing walk showing you what the area looked like before its great commercialization in many places that have scarred the sea front with high-rise buildings.
And do visit Nice's Old Town by the port - like the Latin Quarter - check out local specialties like Pain Baignat, I guess born here - a big fat tasty sandwich - drink beer or wine at outdoor cafes in this oldest part of Nice.

I was thinking about going to Eze, but I didn't knew about 3 Corniche roads. After looking around at it I made small plan, what do you think about this route?
I'm thinking going from Nice via Grande Carniche up until Eze, then visiting Eze and continuing by Moyenne Carniche road to Monaco, spending some time in there and heading back to Nice via lowest Corniche road- Corniche Inferioure ? And on our way home depends if we will still want to continue we can make a side turn to enjoy St Jean Cap Ferrat. The whole trip would be around 60km from our hotel. The question is will it be manageable with small city scooters?
If we will still have some energy left the next day we could do a trip to the other side of Nice- as you suggested into Antibes and Cannes.
And thanks guys, I'm definitely adding Pan Bagnat next to socca from Chez Pipo and Fenocchio ice cream to try out while in Nice.
PalenQ can you tell me more about those isolated swimming holes? I couldn't find anything about it.

when I have taken this walk a few times there were few people along the path and any part of the sea could be an isolated swimming hole IME - well not totally isolated but I've seen folks by themselves skinny dipping along the way - it is a rocky coastline with lots of little bays, etc - oh well the pictures speak a 1000 words.
Check www.budgeteuropetravel.com and their free online French chapter of their European Planning & Rail Guide for some info on this walk and many other places to go - like the famous Chemins de fer de Provence - a local train that goes high into the hinterlands well away from the glitzy coastal areas to a more backwards Provence;s Maritimes mountains.

One place to head with scooters is up to Cimiez, perched high above Nice and home to neat Roman ruins and some really famous art museum(s)- but go for the view if nothing else.
