6 days in Spain

Am planning a short 6 night trip to Spain with my 11 year old daughter. Decided on Seville for 2-3 nights then want some advice on a smaller town or country inn we can get to by either train or car. Looking for a place with some charm where we can hike or horseback ride, with a little sightseeing nearby and just relax around a pool.

I think Ronda would suit you according to your preferences. It is not far from Sevilla ( 140 kms ). You can get there either by train or car and not only by the city itself which is quite interesting and offer superb accommodation but for the surroundings ( Grazalema town, Grazalema Natural Park, La Pileta Cave, Acinipo roman ruins, Zahara de la Sierra, Marbella,Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve, El Torcal Natural Park in Antequera,Arcos, etc).

Nice hotels in Ronda:
-La Casona de la Ciudad: www.lacasonadelaciudad.com

-Parador de Ronda:
www.parador.es

-Hotel San Gabriel
www.hotelsangabriel.com

-Hotel Reina Victoria

Some B&B hotels also there:
www.bbguideonline.com/Europe/Spain/Ronda

The above mentioned link for B&B does not work well, so you might want to try this:

www.andalucia.com/alavera/home.htm

Just remembered another place for those loving nature: Cazalla de la Sierra. The capital of Sierra Norte. Also can go by using train or car from Sevilla ( 90 kms ). Nice hikes all around (Cerro del Hierro, Huesna River, etc ). Some B&Bs there:

La Cartuja de Cazalla
www.skill.es/cartuja

Cortijo Las Navezuelas
www.arrakis.es/~navezuela

La Posada del Moro
http://www.sierranortesevilla.com/tu...posadamoro.htm
