Grateful for suggestions of off highway route Annecy to Paris next January. Two adults with 10 yr old twins will have spent 12 days in La Clusaz and 9 in Paris. We like the less is more approach and do a little well rather than return home with a blur trying to do too much. Ideas of what villages, towns, B&B, hotels and restaurants, sites, galleries etc will be very much appreciated.

I'm not answering your question but I do hope you will post a report after your trip; I've wondered what La Clusaz is like for a family ski trip.

I hope someone with first hand knowledge of your route will answer your query.

Thank you for suggesting to do a report on La Clusaz. We are already very excited. Just have to think about choosing a ski school, purchasing lift passes and where best to hire equipment - Paris or La Clusaz.

Bresse, the Jura and Burgundy would fit your bill.
