I would also disagree with the person's comment about not taking an amsterdam canal boat tour. yes, it's touristy, but it provides a good complimentary experience to walking or bike riding along the canals. It also provides a very interesting perspective for photography. you can also meet people from other countries. i'd do it again the next time i went to a'dam!!!!!!!!!!!!!
