What a great post! After struggling to figure out where I'm going, and figuring out all of the details of how much work I can take off, I am heading to London as well.
I may try to hit Dublin for a few days...let us know how your trip goes.

esl - I hope you got as great a deal on the airfare as we did. I was telling a friend (who is from London) yesterday about the fares we got - she was blown away and was going straight home to check out the deals. She said she hasn't seen fares like that in 5 years so that made me feel good about our spontaneous decision.
flygirl - Thanks for the info on the area around the hotel. I am excited to start planning out what we are going to see/do! This will be helpful.
For anyone else thinking about London - Delta sent out an email yesterday with a promotion of up to 50,000 miles for booking a trip to London with travel dates between now and June 30 I think. Of course 50,000 is for first class tickets, but we got bonus mileage for each of our economy tickets and we booked before the promotion even started.
