4 days in Bavaria
Hi All,
We, my wife and I, have planned a trip to Bavaria in the first week of December. We plan to travel by train.
After doing a lot of reading in this forum. We came up with this itinerary. Please comment on it. If anyone in this forum has been to these towns in early December, please post how rainy it can be. We stay in Finland, so we are used to deep freeze winters
, but rain can spoil the fun.
Dec 2nd: Fly to Frankfurt-Hahn by Ryanair. Take airport shuttle bus to Heidelberg
Dec 3rd: Heidelberg castle and surroundings. Stay overnight
Dec 4th: Morning train to Füssen. Reach there in the afternoon. Stay overnight.
Dec 5th: Tour Castles in the morning. Take afternoon train to Rothenburg. Stay overnight in Rothenburg
Dec 6th: Spend in Rothenburg. Stay overnight
Dec 7th: Morning train to Frankfurt. Fly home.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Did you look at the train schedules? (www.bahn.de) Be prepared for at least 3 train changes between Fuessen and Rothenburg. There are 3 Rothenburgs in Germany. On the website you want Rothenburg o.T., Bahnhof.
