4 Days in Arcos de la Frontera

Our 10 day trip to Andalucia, has now unexpectedly been extended to 14 days. We are staying 3 nights in Granada, one in Ronda, two in Malaga, and five in Seville. We now have four days before Granada, so have decided to stay in Arcos for 4 nights.
I could use some help deciding on an itinerary. We would like to see the Andalusian horses, do some sherry tasting, see Cadiz, Jerez, and perhaps the coast. We are open to a few tours if this makes things easier. We have a car. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I can’t change the rest of the itinerary, or would have done so already.

We stayed a few days in late winter in Tarifa a few years ago and loved touring around the area - Roman ruins and the beaches at Bolonia, fabulous white villages like Vejer de la Frontera and Medina-Sidonia... You might just head south and see what you find. It's a terrific area.

We spent a night in Arcos at the parador and had a difficult time maneuvering those tiny streets. Make sure wherever you stay you can easily get in and out and also have parking, thought parking might not be a problem in November. I would look for a more interesting base for 4 nights. Unless we missed it, not much to do in Arcos.

4 days is too much time in Arcos, IMO. A night or two is plenty. There is more to do in Jerez and you can easily do a day trip to Cadiz from there, which is a fabulous town.

Thank you for all the help. We did book four nights there, as we didn’t want to move around a lot. We are planning to use it as a base, and have already booked a horse show in Jerez and Sherry tasting too. Thought we might go to Cadiz, see some of the other villages from there also. We then go to three nights in Granada, one night in Ronda, two in Malaga and five in Seville. If it had been possible we would have changed our bookings to fit in with the new schedule, but Airbnb charges such a high fee for rebooking, it’s ridiculous. Hence the four nights in Arcos.
Just trying to figure out where to go on the Sunday, as it looks like everything is pretty much closed then in Cadiz, and I imagine everywhere else.
