Can we really be banned? That sends Hilton-like chills up my spine.
Sissy, we did long for the Ritz, but alas, too many smart people had taken all the rooms. We did escape from the barricades that surrounded the mighty Hilton and make it back to the 4 Seasons thanks to a cancellation. But reading your description, perhaps we should have tried harder to gain admittance to the Ritz.
