Well Coco you don't know me and I don't know you so I will refrain from a personal comment about you. Your establishment receives wonderful reviews on this forum and good for you.

TraceeC, I just happened on a link to this website with cooking classes in Beaune. I know nothing about it but you might do your due diligence and see if you can find some reviews, Trip Advisor or elsewhere. One possibility. https://www.thecooksatelier.com/

For another food-related experience you might want to check out eatwith.com. A friend told me about it last year and it was very fun! It is a site where locals (many of them chefs or in the food industry) host meals for travelers. It is especially nice when you are traveling solo. I just had a friend do one of their events in Tangiers and thought it was really great. It tends to be tourists of course who attend but since the host is local you can pick up good city and restaurant info from them generally. You will just have to see if there happens to be an event in any of the places you are during the dates you will be there.

Here is the site:

www.eatwith.com

and if you do want to book an event there is a coupon on the site for a reduction: 870F03FA 870F03FA 870F03FA

cococherie- so what do those folks do for nine days just in Dijon itself - I know your place must be a magnet after rave reviews on Fodor's - maybe they have relatives in the city? I stayed in Dijon two nights and that was enough for me, who wanted to travel to other places, but yes if they like it there must be a reason and your place must be a part of that.

So much miss your regular postings!

Thank you all for the recommendations! As always, this forum (and its participants) has such a wealth of information. We have booked accommodations in Colmar and plan to explore the Alsace region for a few days before heading to Burgundy!!
