3/4 hour wait at Milan Malpensa Airport

Hi,
My wife and I are planning to meet up at Milan, Malpensa before going to Milan Central to board a train to Venice.

I arrive at around 7am and my wife flies in at 11am, this leaves me with 3/4 hours to kill, while I wait for her.

I would ideally like to wait for her at the arrival area in a coffee shop.

Is this possible ? Does anybody have any other ideas ?

Cheers and thanx

There isn't much in the Arrivals area, but if you go upstairs (escalator or elevator) to the departure level there are coffee shops, restaurants, bookstores, etc., and some large, comfortable chairs by the back windows overlooking the runways.

best regards,

When I lived in Italy I flew in and out of Malpensa about 30 times. There's not much to recommend it. Previous post had it right...find a comfortable chair, set an alarm, and doze.

You can move freely between the arrivals and departures floors without going through security. It's no problem.
