For me there is no other place like PELION! I wouldn't take it of my list if I were you. Such a lush green destination that offers a unique privilege for holidays since it combines mountain and sea! 2 days on that magical island might feel like a week of full relaxation. I have spent many summers there. I've also been to Naxos, I liked the cultural side of the island but most beaches looked the same to me. The beaches on Mt. Pelion on the other hand have amazing views and don't look the same... To see most of Naxos you might need 6-7 days. Santorini doesn't excite me that much either, I'd spend no more than 2-3 days there. The rest you could lose yourself in the forests of Pelion <3 Do reconsider... The energy of that place is amazing!

Anniepie, the choices made by someone who has never been to Greece, and who might not go back except perhaps way in the future, will be very different from choices made by someone llike you who (from the sound of it) goes to greece many many times ... perhaps you are from Europe and can get to Greece quickly and inexpensively, a far different situation from persons in North America.

Traveljan, that's true I've been to Greece many times. Pelion is an amazing place to be. I don't just say that. Have you been? This year I am considering the Ionian or the Dodecanese maybe. The Cyclades are great, been there many times. Anyone getting to the Cyclades would be better off - in my opinion.- using Naxos as their base. Beautiful island, plenty of sightseeing and right in the middle at the best distance from most of the other islands around. I recommended that Mt. Pelion is not to be missed if there is enough time, that's all.
