Hi All,
Just returned from the trip,
Fantastic time had using my last itinerary
driving was a breeze even though the back ways which we did a lot of,
Motor ways are great (yes we picked or times avoided peak hours)
Pick of the bunch was london, York, Chester and Bath.
Fantastic senery around The Scottish Highlands, Lake District and Cotswolds
reviews to come
Cheers

Hi Samoa64,
Im planning a road trip to UK and it roughly looks like what u planned and did in 2012. I would like to get a detailed list of activities u did at each stop. This will help me immensely in my planning and bookings.
Feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Thank you,

I have read the above comments and wonder how my fifteen day itinerary sits with everyone's opinion we fully realised that there is no way we will see everything but just wanting to sample the some of this great attractions
We are arriving at Heathrow Easter Saturday, zig zagging our way via car to Cambridge for our first night
Next day travelling to York stopping along the way second night
Spend the majority of the day in York and then heading to Edinburgh for two nights
Off to Inverness and the last of our booked accommodation
Would love to travel to Skye and take the ferry to malig then down to fort William one or two nights in along the way.
before heading over to Belfast over night
Off around the coast to the giant causeway a night in Londonderry and then cut through to Dublin two nights
Ferry over to Wales through the snowdia np and Brecon on beacon np again overnight along the way
Then make our way to Southampton via bath to catch our 7 day cruise to the Norwegian fjords
Lastly on our return four nights and days in London
Do you think we are biting off more than we can chew?
Or better still what are some absolute musts along the way?
Cheers from down under

yes, good idea to start your own thread but to answer your question - yes you are trying to bite off a great deal more than you could possibly chew. Half of this would be more than enough to accomplish in the time you've got.
Post it again in a separate thread and we can try to help!
