2 days in Italy - what to do?
We will be arriving from Crete, Greece to Pescara, Italy on early Friday morning in July (just because doing Crete-Pescara and then Milan-London) was the cheapest way to get from Crete/Greece to London without paying ridiculous one way prices in July.
Our flight back to London is at 6:30am on Sunday morning from Milan.
So we do know this:
We have to be in Milan/Bergamo the night before.
How do you suggest we spend our time between Friday 8 am in Pescara and Sunday 6am in Bergamo?
Visit Rimini? San Marino? Or just not bother with either and go straight to Milan?
Haven't been to Milan before. Is it pricey?

What airport exactly? Milano Malpensa? Milano Linate? Bergamo? Your description isn't clear.
If Bergamo, I would head straight there on Friday. You probably wouldn't get there until late afternoon. Spend that evening and the next day in Bergamo, a lovely town with a few interesting sights and museums.

What method of transportation are you using to get from Pescara to Milano?
If you have a car, Senegallia is a beautiful small seaside town. Nice to spend the night at. Ravenna is renoun for Mosaics and also a pleasant stay.
Bergamo is nice for a half day ( make sure you take the funivia uphill to the higher town in the evening). But Mantova deserves a night to see the Gonzaga palace.

Several years ago we stayed in Bergamo the night before our departure from Malpensa. The town was quite charming and the airport was about an hour or an hour and a half from Bergamo. You could check out Milan one day and hang out in Bergamo the rest of the time. Lake Como (Bellagio) is about an hour and a half away from Bergamo. It's very pretty.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
While checking out museums and palaces would be fun, we're looking for that mixed with entertainment. Perhaps some local beach parties or nice lounges.
We are taking the train from Pescara up north. Just sort of debating whether to get off somewhere around Rimini and spend a day there or head straight to Milan and spend a day there and half a day in Bergamo.
