1st trip to Sicily (9 nts)/Naples (2 nts) hotel feedback

These hotels are my tentative picks for this trip in early May 2024

Palermo - Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel
Agrigento - I Segreti della Valle B&B
Ortigia - Casa VerbaVolant
Taormina - Hotel Casa Adele
Naples - Dimora Duomo

The range in price is about $107-270 per night, with average per night being about $180 (I like to keep the average between $150-200). All include breakfast except in Palermo where breakfast is an additional $13 pp/day. I only book hotels I can cancel within days of the stay.

I'm sure your hotel hosts or someone will tell you, but don't miss the Naples pastry called Sfogliatella. We went to Naples from Sicily last year for the first time and I've been thinking about that pastry ever since. I looked it up on you tube to see how to make it! No way! easier to just fly to Naples! Enjoy! Your trip sounds great. You'll love it!

oh I know that pastry. My dad’s side is Neapolitan, I grew up with them, although never homemade. If you're ever in nyc, go to venieros in the E. Village. Great Italian bakery since 1894. They also have the best pignoli cookies.
