I would skip Mykonos. Unless your into non-stop party. Better to go straight to Athens, rest up & visit the sights.

Enjoy your trip! You will love Santorini & Naxos.

Personally, I would not skip Mykonos. I'm not a party person and I still enjoyed the island. I do think you could narrow down the list a bit and spend more time in fewer places. You'll be spending a great deal of your vacation packing, unpacking, and traveling with your itinerary.

We 6 friends spent 10 glorious days w/ a private skipper on a boat going to 8 islands in the Cyclades. SKIP Mykanos. Yuk. Paros was our favorite, and all of the "S" islands- Sifnos, Serifos, Syros. The people are so friendly, the snorkeling is wonderful, everything is so clean, the food is great. Wish we were going back in the near future! Enjoy!
22 days in greece! you'll love it. i i also agree you have alot planned. crete, santorini & paros meteroa & athens would be my suggestions. however, when you get there your travle times may determine where & when..the monastaries at meteroa were not opened all day long last sept. don't know about high season. i have been to greec last 3 sept. you may email me for suggestions on what to pack (besides clothes) for 3 weeks.long skirts are the best for airflow & cooler than shorts.i hope you enjoy greece as much as i do.
