Train in Spain help
Just when you think you have figured it out...do I REALLY have to book a table for 4 on the AVE when I only need 2 tickets? The renfe AVE fare for 4 is still less than 2 tickets on the same train via Petrabax. Looking at Madrid Puerta de Atocha to Córdoba.
Appreciate sage advice!!

With 2 seats you do not get table seats.

Definitely worth it if it is cheaper. But if you want to try to re-sell those other two seats, go to the website www.carpling dot com and sign up to share that purchased table. Good luck.

Thanks for the great responses.
There did not seem to be any option to buy just 2 seats on the Renfe site. Not logical, so what don't I understand about this purchase process?
I did purchase the Mesa seats. We have been laughing about carrying a sign thru Atocha:
Venta: 2 para Córdoba. Ha ha. Not really. But we did want that particular day & train.
