Yesterday I went to see: Statens Museum for Kunst and the National Museum. Statens Museum for Kunst had an Impressionism exhibit that was great. On Wednesdays since many Museums are free so that is where we went. The Staten was architecturally beautiful. An extra fee got us into the Kunst. The price on most things is really high. The town has much more to offer than I thought. Today we are going to Malmø and Lund, just so we can say we have been to Sweden my thoughts when I return.

Yep . . . been to Koge. Actually, I was on my way to Mon which is pretty spectacular. High cliffs, beech trees, very pretty. Koge, however, was pretty forgettable, at least compared to Helsingor and Kroborg, Hillerod and Frederiksburg, Roskilde, Dragor, Fredensborg, Hornbaek, Esrum Kloster, Louisiana . . .
I did the Malmo thing as well, same reason. Actually, it's an interesting city. However, it was several degrees below zero F when I was there last. Are you going to be there for the Scandinavian Sailing Week? I think it's the first week of June, though it may be later.
Have fun. Skol!

Snoppy,
I go home on June 1st. The weather here changes from one minute to the next. Today I did Rothenburg Castle. I have not yet done Tivoli hopefully that will happen later on today. Tomorrow the Viking Museum.

If you or your father like beer, you should go to 90 Vinstue. It's at 90 Gammel Kongevej. They hand-pull Carlsberg from the cellar and it is without a doubt my favorite beer in the world. Small and smokey (the room, not the beer) . . . but worth it.

BeachBoi,
There's a restaurant called Skt Gertrud's Kloster and there's a restaurant called Peder Oxe's Vinkælder on Grabrodretorv (Gray Friar's Square) that is built in a medieval cloister . . . I'm not familiar with a restaurant called the Cloisters. Skt Gertrud's is lit by about 12 hillion jillion candles . . . and has only been around for 10 or 15 years I think.
Skt G's K is pretty pricey and my boss and his wife felt a little claustrophobic there. Peder Oxe is a middle price restaurant in one of my favorite spots in all of Europe, Grabrodretorv . . . there are actually several al fresco restaurants on that square. I travel to CPH quite often alone and I've spent from 6pm until midnight there on more than one occasion. It's very quiet and quintessential Europe.
About Arhuus - I am pretty sure that there's hourly service from Copenhagen and I think it takes about 4 hours to get there. I looked into it about 2 years ago and I don't really remember much other than that. 8 hours of train travel in a single day can be a little tiring . . . unless you are like me and you are very young at heart.
Have fun! Im planning on being there sometime in the first two or three weeks in July.
