14 day Bavarian Palace Ticket

I've searched but not found any mention of a 14 day Bavarian Palace ticket
http://www.schloesser.bayern.de/engl...ts/jahresk.htm

Am I reading this correctly - are all these places including Neuschwanstein Castle, Neuschwanstein Castle, Herrenchiemsee, Linderho - free with the single price - single ticket (20 euros) or a partner ticket (two adults / 36 euros).

Yes, that's correct. Let all those who'd like to pay (a lot) more do so and help keeping those places beautiful.

Wow - I think I'm going to stay in Bavaria longer to take advantage of this.

For the palaces that require timed tickets do you just go to the ticket booth to get your timed entrance?

Buy the ticket at the booth, on the back, you have to write your name, below that the expiry date is written. For the details of when it's your turn to enter, (if not instantly) you have to ask at the booth presenting your ticket.

My husband & I bought these tickets for our trip in 06 & felt that they were a great deal! I bought them in Bamberg, our first stop in Bavaria. I had to ask about them. I found very little info on Fodors about these tickets.

You're welcome ;-). Sometimes those "unknown" offers leave a mixed feeling. They're paid for by taxpayers money and those who benefit from them may be people that spend 150€ on a hotel room because they couldn't care less yet complain about the "high" prices. Otoh, those that really need them have no idea that they exist. Well, I hope those who can afford it, pay full price anyway.
