12 Day trip to Sardinia - Itinerary help
We're travelling to Sardinia for 12 days in June/July, more specifically the 27th of June to the 8th of July.
We arrive in Cagliari at around 11am and our plan is to travel to Cala Gonone and spend a few nights there and maybe in some surrounding villages/towns. We'd like to know the best option to get there seeing neither of us have got a drivers license (bus? train?).
We'd like to spend about 3-4 days there and then travel west to Alghero and spend another few nights there and then back to Cagliari before departure.
This is roughly how our schedule looks:
6/27 Mon - Arriving in Cagliari, travel to Cala Gonone
6/28 Tue - Cala Gonone
6/29 Wed - Cala Gonone
6/30 Thu - Cala Gonone
7/1 Fri - Cala Gonone?
7/2 Sat - Alghero
7/3 Sun - Alghero
7/4 Mon - Alghero
7/5 Tue - Somewhere in between Alghero and Cagliari?
7/6 Wed - Cagliari
7/8 Thu - Leaving in the am
Also looking for any tips for cheap hotels, b&b's, restaurants and any other things we might do whilst there. We've always wanted to try out diving as well so any tips on where we could go to do that to woul'd be great!
Thank you all in advance!
