10 days in Spain - what to see?

Hi,
We are a young couple from NYC, both 25, and will be in Spain for ten days. We have been to Barcelona before and loved it. This time we would like to see Madrid, Seville, Granada, and Costa del Sol (heard Marbella is beautiful). Can you please advise on how many days to spend in each place?
Thanks so much!

Be sure to go to Ronda!!!! We were in the Costa del Sol 2 years ago and that was my favourite. Mijas is very nice as well. (both places would be 1/2 day each)

3 days in Madrid, 2 in Sevilha, 2 in Granada and 3 in Marbella (if you want to get some sun, if not 2 is enough) Marbella is beautiful, I go there every summer.

I second adding Ronda into your schedule and spending as little time as Madrid as possible.

Two should be good for Granada (get your Alhambra reservations now). We did two in Madrid, but could have done much more. I'd recommend three.

Thank you so much for your responses. Now we really want to add Ronda to our trip. Any advise on the best way to get there? Is it best to go there from Marbella?

We just reurned from a two week vaction in Spain. You will love it! If you are adding Ronda to your stops there is a cave nearby with prehistoric cave paintings. It is the fist exit to the left, on the raod heading towards Seville just outside of Ronda. The village is called Benaojan. Look for signs pointing to Cueva del Pileta. You go with approx 20 poeple and the caretaker with gas lanterns. It was one of my favorite visits.
